From broken fishing boats to furniture

From broken fishing boats to furniture

Hello lovely people

Today I'm excited to be sharing another company with you with such inspiring values and stunning products my heart goes aflutter, just like Elvis & Kresse and their fire hoses. I hope it does the same to your hearts too.

d-Bodhi has a powerful mission - to be an international leader in socially and environmentally responsible design. Like Elvis & Kresse, they began with one type of discarded material - reclaimed teak from old Javanese fishing boats to create stunning, unique and hand crafted furniture with character.

d-Bodhi have since improved their environmental impact by also giving new life to unwanted denim from old jeans, old licence plates, recycled galvanised iron, recycled paper and even rubber from old tyres - turning them into desirable products. Not only that, they provide employment in small communities, are zero waste and carbon neutral by planting trees in conjunction with Indonesian Trees4Trees. There really is a lot to love about d-Bodhi, even before falling for their stunning range of furniture!

Next time you need any furniture I highly recommend you browse d-Bodhi's collections either online or at Harvey Norman NZ/Australia. By purchasing from d-Bodhi you'll be advocating for a better world, better production practices, social impact, more care for our precious earth and a greener tomorrow for our children.

Love, Pen x
